Green Street: A Taste of New American Delight in Pasadena

We had great food and excellent service for lunch here today. Green street is known for its Dianne Salad. Every time we come here, the salad is always part of our order. Besides the salad, they have amazing food. For two of us, we got a luncheon Dianne salad and steak. The steak was delectable. It was perfectly cooked to medium just as we asked for and the flavor was amazing. I just love the grilled taste of the meat. It was also very juicy and tender. The price was very reasonable. The service here was impeccable. Our waiter wasted no time to get us drinks and brought out the delicious complimentary zucchini bread for us. When we found a bone in our salad, he was quick to took up the issue with the manage and gave us a loaf of zucchini bread to compensate us. At the end of our lunch, he got us a tropical ice tea on a to go cup for us to take it on the road, very thoughtful. Now that’s what I call excellent service!

Had an excellent Reuben and a Dianne salad. Great food, ok price. Disappointed that they advertised serving heirloom tomatoes and I received romas.

The Green street Cobb never disappoints! The zucchini bread is a must have and my wife and daughter like the salmon. We typically make a trip from Riverside here every so often just because the salads are always a standout and place has good vibes

My client and I had a wonderful lunch at Green Street Restaurant —it was the perfect spot to enjoy great food and conversation! We started with Mexican Street Corn Flatbread. It was flavorful and super sharable. Fresh toppings and delicious flavor made it fun to dig into while we chatted. For our mains, we went with the BBQ Salmon Cobb Salad and the Thai Chicken Bowl — both were great and cooked perfectly. Everything came with great service and a relaxed vibe that made the whole lunch enjoyable. If you’re ever looking for a place in Pasadena that feels classic but fresh, this is it. Highly recommend!

I have been missing the Dianne salad with zucchini bread since 2010 (last time I visited Cali) it was a meal I always enjoyed at Green Street (born and raised there) I don't know why I waited so long, but I finally ordered the Dianne dressing and zucchini bread for shipment, all the way to Ohio. I work in the industry and had it shipped to my place of employment. I shared the bread with my team (toasted it a bit and added fresh butter) and oh my!!!!! All the feel goods of this comfort food was apparent on everyone's face. I'm only sad I ordered one loaf. I won't be making that mistake next time! It tastes like they made it today! I'm so thankful y'all ship this amazing dressing and bread. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! If any one of you from Green Street ever make it out here to Ohio, come see us at CCF! We got you! Really great service here - I’m not a fan of shrimp but I got the chili lime shrimp bowl and it is Delish. Good wine selection (I’m a Chardonnay fan) and very nice atmosphere. Overall a solid restaurant and perfect for sharing food since the portions are fat.

Our waiter Kelly was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our experience enjoyable. Had a wonderful Easter reservation lunch with my partner and his mother. I’m super sensitive to spicy foods, and so I ordered a pasta dish and asked they leave out the pepper flakes. Well turns out, the sauce had a little spice in it - to anyone else it would have been very mild, but as I said before I’m SUPER sensitive. Our server replaced my dish and suggested another, and gave me 2 servings on the house. I was so thrilled. And it was DELICIOUS. It was the Mexican Street Corn Flatbread without chili powder. Perfection. Great service, and an exquisite outdoors atmosphere. I also got some lovely pictures with my partner and his mother.
